Allow us to introduce ourselves
Growing up in a Pennsylvania Dutch family, Esther learned about cooking quality food early. Spending hours in the kitchen, working beside her mother, Esther learned the importance of food and how to touch someone’s heart by serving food that would make her mother and grandfather proud. That tradition shaped Esther’s life.
As she grew, Esther began focusing on selling home made jams, jellies, chocolates, and mouth-watering pies at local craft shows and farmers markets. During this time, as she worked with many repeat customers, Esther was able to tweak all really great recipes into something truly fantastic. However, Esther wanted to spend more time with her daughter so she transformed her passion for food into a cooking and catering company bringing the same passion for food to even more people.
Since 2001, Esther’s Country’s Kitchen has focused on making real food for real people customizing menus to fit each of her client’s tastes. Esther designs, plans, and prepares each dish with the same passion as if she was cooking for her own family. You will tastes the passion in every bite.
“I’ve always loved cooking. I like to make real food, something you can’t get at a restaurant or grocery store.”
Esther’s passion for food is only eclipsed by her passion for people. A good meal is more than preparing quality ingredients, following a recipe. It is about the passion and care that goes into each meal. Esther’s Country Kitchen begins with the freshest of ingredients and prepares everything from scratch. There is nothing prepackaged or boxed. Just quality food prepared with a passion for food, people, and the connection they share.
At a catering event, you will see Esther or her daughter Cindy. Esther prepares and caters each of her events herself. This allows her to show her passion for the food she is serving and assures you of a great event. Each bite will taste like it came out of grandma’s kitchen and put a smile on your face.
